Looking down from the front porch of the Caribbean Cottage past the garden and patio you have a view of Galveston Bay. The Main House is the building on the right.

Galveston Bay, the fishing pier and the patio where our guests can picnic in true Texas style using our gas fired barbeque grill. On the horizon you can see a large tanker heading south down the Houston ship channel.

Imagine for a moment stretching out on this hammock, gently swaying, the soft bay breezes cooled slightly as they come across the water, you look toward the bay and see a few pelicans sitting on some old pier pilings jutting out the waves, a lone sailboat glides through the water in front of you.

The Caribbean Cottage with its stairway and wrap-around expansive deck. A good place to relax in the shade while watching the sailboats, wind surfers and motor boats cruising across Galveston Bay. Beneath the cottage is the parking area for the golf carts which are available for our guests' use (on a first come first serve basis) to drive around Kemah and visit the myriad shops, restaurants, and sights along the waterfront.
